Missy the Dog needs a home
Missy is a 16 year old female Boston terrier surrendered to the local shelter due to her owner being pregnant and Missy getting older. Missy is an angel and the most precious little lady. She is smart, housebroken, good with kids, and fine with other animals.
*Although her age was reported as 16 yrs by her previous owner, Missy's general physical state, energy level, and labwork leads our vet to believe she is closer to possibly as young as 12 yrs old.
Missy is current on vaccinations, spayed, and microchipped. She will be undergoing a routine dental prior to adoption. She is current on heartworm preventative and flea preventative, and has tested negative for heartworms.

Our adoptions include a foster period of 4-6 weeks so that you can be sure that this pet is a good fit without any pressure, and we are available to answer any behavior or training questions during that time (and beyond, if you wish).
** Local adoptions (within Greater New Orleans area and surrounding parishes). We do not ship animals, as a part of our adoption process is for the potential adopter(s) to meet the dog to assess if he/she is a match for the family.
